Question : I'm a 43 year old male who never really considering myself to be distracted or challenged with attention deficit disorder. I was just a multi tasker who never focus well enough on one item I guess. But lately, I'm finding myself more and more distracted with work tasks. Additionally, my 12 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with ADD and it makes me second guess myself. Not good when I own and run my business and I question my focus..
Is there an online "test" or method to diagnose?

Lack of concentration, distraction, difficulty in completing task, difficulty remembering etc. can also be the symptoms of depression. It may be possible that the diagnosis of your daughter as a case ADD has bothered you so much and you feel stressed, which has resulted in depression. You can also go for DSM 5 criteria for depression and ADD on the internet. They are easily available.

Confirm diagnosis by detailed history taking can only be possible by in-person interview with a psychiatrist.
