What Care The Chances Of Pregnancy From Pre Seminal Fluid?

default
Posted on Thu, 7 May 2015
Question: If a man touches the pre-seminal fluid on his penis and then puts that same finger into and around a woman's vagina, and she is on the last day of her period when this happens, what are the odds that she could get pregnant from that? She is not on any birth control. Is it impossible, very unlikely, or is it likely enough that she should seek out some type of OTC Plan B pill? She weights 194lbs, which we read is not appropriate for that type of pill?

Brief Answer:
The chances of pregnancy are very unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Thanks for trusting us about your health care.

I can understand your concern here.

This type of sexual activities does not cause pregnancy.

In my opinion the chances of pregnancy are very less in your case because for pregnancy penetration is very important and itvwas not there and she is in her safe period also.

Yes, it is true that I-pill effectiveness decreases if you are overweight.

So do not give her I-pill, but wait
for her next menses and if she missed
her menses for 7 days than get her a home urine pregnancy test done to rule out pregnancy.(as a rule).

Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more questions.

Good luck.

Regards

Thanks. Also, would you say pre-seminal fluid does not have sperm in it, or does it? I read conflicting information on that and would like to know the correct medical opinion on that.

Brief Answer:
Medically we say it contains sperm.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Nice to hear from you once again.

Yes, you are right it is very controversial whether pre-seminal fluid contains sperm or not.

Medically we always said that you should use protection because pre- cum can cause pregnancy.

Actually pre-seminal fluid is a clear liquid secreated through urethra during sexual arousal and it does not contain sperm in it but this fluid may contain sperm when a male ejaculated previously and sperm can present in urethra and secreted through pre-cum.

Hope it is clear your doubt.

Good luck.
Regards
