Brief Answer:
Heating pad, and massage.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
I can understand your concern.
If I was your treating doctor , I would have advised you the following,

Simple stretches and massages can help relax the muscle and stop it from contracting.

Heating pads can accelerate the relaxation process, while an ice pack can help numb the pain.

If your muscle is still sore,a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication, such as ibuprofen.

Warm saline gargle for dry cough.

If not relieved by these measures, you may ask your doctor for muscle relaxants, as they are prescription drugs.

Hope I have answered your query, if any thing else, you are welcome or you can close the question by rating the answer.
Good wishes.
