Brief Answer:
DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

According to your given information, it is mostly suggestive of Primary Stabbing Headache or Ice Pick headache.

This type of headache comes and goes too quickly to take anything. It may recur throughout the day. It is commonly associated with migraine headache, hormonal imbalance, monthly period etc.

In this circumstance, I suggest you to consult with your Family Physician for clinical examination and eye check up. Some investigations like hormonal profile, blood Hb%, Sugar (PPBS), assessment of blood pressure, CT scan/ EEG etc may be required to confirm the diagnosis.

It is quite difficult to treat due to very short span of headache. However, some drugs like Indomethacin (Non-Steroid Anti-inflammatory Drug) can be given to treat the condition effectively. Supportive treatment may be required. Kindly, procure complete prescription from your doctor.

In addition, I suggest you to improve or change quality of life style through consuming healthy diet, drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated, regular yoga or meditation in the morning, bathing twice daily, salt restriction in the 2nd half of period cycle, taking adequate sound sleep.

Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and take care of yourself.

Regards,
Dr S Patra
