Question : I had a surgical termination 7 weeks ago and on that day had the XXXXXXX coil fitted! For the past 2 days I have had random gushes of heavy bright red blood is this normal?

Are you due for your periods at this time when you are having these gushes ?
Have you correctly mentioned your age , is it 12 ??
After the surgical termination, did you have a follow up scan after 15 days to confirm that the uterine cavity was empty ?
Have you had regular cycles in the past ?
