Brief Answer:
his symptoms seems to be due to GERD

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that his symptoms seems to be due to Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease ( GERD ). I would suggest that he should be clinically examined and investigated by a Gastroentologist. Endoscopy and Ultrasound of abdomen along with Liver Function Test (LFT) will be helpful in planning his medical management. He can add Domperidone 30mg along with pantaprazole he is taking. Further medical management can be planned according to the clinical evaluation done by his doctor and according to the reports of the above mentioned investigations.
I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help.
Regards. Thanks.
