What Cause Navel Pain After Laparoscopic Surgery For Endometriosis?

default
Posted on Wed, 29 Oct 2014
Question: I had laparoscopic 5 weeks ago for endometriosis, removal of ovary and Fallopian tubes. I feel pretty good, only in the last couple days my navel area has been bothering me. I thought it was just from my jeans, but now days later I'm getting pain in that area (mild, but pain nonetheless). I pressed around it to figure out where the pain was coming from, now I noticed a hard lump (pea size) just above the navel. Would that be scare tissue? Why the pain now after so many weeks? An infection could not happen this much time after? I do plan on contacting office if it persists.
