Brief Answer: You need proper clinical exam & investigations. Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXX Thanks for writing to HCM You need proper clinical examination and investigations. Your problem may be due to urinary tract infection, calculus in urinary tract etc. However other causes should also be ruled out You need investigations like routine hemogram, random blood sugar, urine RE/ME,urine culture and sensitivity,Ultrasound of abdomen.Non contrast CT Scan can be done to confirm calculus in urinary tract. You are only taking AZO standard. It contains Phenazopyridine.Phenazopyridine is prescribed for its local analgesic effects on the urinary tract. Only AZO standard will not help you. If infection is diagnosed then you may need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report. Culture and sensitivity is needed because now a days microbes are resistant to many drugs. If other problem like calculus is diagnosed then you need treatment accordingly. Proper treatment depend upon clinical findings and investigation reports. Get well soon. Hope I have answered your question. Further queries are most welcome. Take Care Dr.Indu XXXXXXX
