What Causes ED Despite Negative Urology Test Results?

Question: I have been having a problem with ED for a little over a year now. I went to a urologist and she said my testostrone levels are normal and did a PSA test and said the results of it were normal. I am a type 2 diabetic and take 500mg of metformin a day. My last A1C test was a 5.6 and I have not been higher than a 5.9 in four years. My question is if the test the urologist ran are normal why do I still have a problem with ED?
Brief Answer:
ED has several other causes!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Low testosterone and poorly controlled diabetes are just some of the causes of ED. As a matter of fact, most ED cases do not have an identifiable cause. If one were identified, treatment would have been pretty straight forward.
I will like to know how your psychological state is. Are you in perfect understanding with your partner? Are there any stressful life situations that might distract you? Are you on any other drugs?
If these are all absent, I recommend you try viagra. Depending on the results, the decision to carry on or not would be hinged on that.
I hope this sheds more light and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
