Brief Answer: Not a symptom related to cancer. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing to us, Usually the pain after taking alcohol is usually due to dehydration leading to depletion of electrolytes resulting in cramps and pain in muscle. It may also due to the increase of lactic acid during excess alcohol intake causing pressure pains in arms and legs. As your blood reports are normal, as you said earlier and your symptoms are only after alcohol intake it not related to cancer. Try to drink some excess water after drinking alcohol which prevent the dehydration. Take care.

Another doctor on here told me it could be a early sign of hodgkins lymphoma as the symptoms are very specfic to it. Also would lactic acid pain respond so quick to a few sips and then.settle after 20 mins

Brief Answer: Hodgkins is less likely , avoid heavy alcohol. Detailed Answer: Hello, Nice to see you again, No, Hodgkin lymphoma are very rare, as the main symptom of it is painless lymph node, as you don’t have any, and your blood screen is also normal. Yes, lactic acid increase in concentration won’t decrease suddenly, but might response slowly due to the availability of energy by other source like amino acids and fatty acid, which are key source of energy other than glucose (depleted in alcoholic with increased lactic acid). Try to avoid alcohol binge and see if you are out of this symptoms,if you don't get further symptoms, then its obviously due to the lactose intolerence. Hope ,helped your query, Take care.
