Brief Answer:
Multiple differentials...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Sudden onset one side numbness is considered as a concern because it could mean an intracranial pathology in the form of stroke, bleeding or demyelination. However I have seen other patients with anxiety, vitamin deficiency and endocrine disorders presenting with similar numbness. Therefore I would remain cautious and evaluate further if symptoms persists or progress in such cases. A detailed neurological examination and battery of tests including MRI of brain, blood sugar, cholesterol, vitamin B12 and thyroid hormone check are entailed.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if you have other concerns.

Regards
