                                            Question : i have a brownish crusty growth on top of my head. had a dermo toligist look at it and he said it was nothing to worry about. I am 57 years old and starting to loose hair so it is more visable. it realy bothers my wife so other than surgery is there any thing i can do ?

I have reviewed the attached photograph and you seem to be having seborrhoeic keratoses.
It is benign growth of the keratinocytes.
It is nothing to worry about but there no oral and topical medicines to treat it.
You need to get it removed by electrocautery.
It is minor office procedure requiring 20-25 minutes.
