Question: Hi, I have a bump on the inside of my cheek it's been there for approx. a year, it's never changed in size or caused any pain. I woke up today and my cheek is swollen and I feel like I have some pressure under my eye.
my teeth do not hurt. its in the area of my sinus. what can I do to get the swelling down. I don't have any pain at this point. but, my face has been a little itchy on the side that's swollen.

Brief Answer:
gum or tooth infection or sinusitis, cellulitis, consult oral physician

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.

The bump over the cheek can be a traumatic fibronectin secondary to chronic irritation by the teeth.
The possible causes for the swelling over the face can be secondary to any infection in the teeth or gum or sinus that has lead to spread of infection to soft tissues(cellulitis). So kindly consult an oral physician and get it evaluated.

You'll be needing to get the radiographs like Orthopantomograph done to confirm the diagnosis. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like Amoxicillin and Metronidazole combination, if you are not allergic (prescription drug so please obtain the necessary prescription from your local physician). Do saline gargling three time daily..

If possible, please upload the images of the swelling and lump for a closer look and diagnosis and treatment plan.

I hope I have answered your query.
Take care.
