Brief Answer:
Antibiotic action has no effect on ejaculation and vice-versa.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXX,

I shall answer each doubt separetely. :

1. Each antibiotic has different times of peak action, and duration of action.
Average action of all antibiotics,is an hours' time.
But the effect will occur, only after a certain dose of the antibiotic is active.
That depends on the given disease.

2. As your scrotal ultrasound scan, showed only a Grade 1.varicocele, and minimal epididymitis on clinical examination, that should be the cause for the discomfort.
\
3. You're completely cured, when you're free of all symptoms.

4. The healing duration depends on the severity of the problem.
Remember, God does all the healing.

Wish you well.

Hi Doctor,

Thank you for the reply.
Doctor I have not submitted you the Ultrasound or any other reports for that matter as I told you doctor usually do not give patients the reports here.

But I told you I am taking cephalexin 500 mg as Urologist diagnoised my condition as epididymtis.
1. I am not sure about Grade 1.varicocele, what exactly is it , If I may ask.
Does antibiotic I am taking also cure varicocele you mentioned?

2. It only happens when we do physical activity?
3. Should I be worried about it?
4. Why epididymtis happened in my case? or even UTI that I mentioned you initially.

When I asked urologist he said it is because of Stool.

I hope I am not asking too much questions , but I would like to understand the things.

Yeah God does all the healing :)

Thanks

Brief Answer:
No definite cause for varicocele, epididymitis or UTI.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

1. Varicocele is a distension of the veins draining the testis, seen in the scrotum.
It can't be cured by any medicines.

2. Physical activity like lifting weights, can cause further distension.

3. There's absolutely nothing to be worried, about a grade 1 varicocele.

4. There's no specific cause for the epididymitis. It can be seen in any person,
usually in young adults.

UTI is usually due to bacteria, which are found in the intestines.
These are the same bacteria(E.coli), usually seen in UTI,in the majority.
Especially in females,as the openings of urethra and anus, are close to
each other.

You're most welcome, to ask as many questions as you want and clear your
all your doubts, rather than be in the dark.

Wishing you good health.

Thanks doctor ,
But in my case what could be the probable cause.
One more thing
You said to wear tight underwear, may I know the reason ?
Because I generally do not feel comfortable wearing tight one.

2. I still feel like the feeling when skin rubs to hard cloth like towel in parts of skin around anus and testicle which touches base when I sit , is it something related to underwear I am wearing.
3. Urologis put his finger in anus to check something when I visited , what was he checking ?

4. Should i wear tight underwears during karate also ?

5. Drinking coffe after antibiotic is okay ?

6. What is the number of ejaculations recommended per week ?

7. How do I know the semen is coming out of my right epididymitis during ejaculationAs it is infected one ?

How exactly it works ?

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Cause for your pain, isn't determined.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

1. The cause in your case, is not certain. There need not be any particular reason
for it develop in you.

2. Tight underwear meaning, it should keep the scrotum elevated.
This helps in prevention of swelling or inflammation of the testis and epididymis.

3. Rectal examination(DRE), is a routine examination, done to check if all structures are felt normal on examination.

4.During exercising,it's advisable to use a tight underwear, like the one normally used by athletes, or called 'supporters'.

5.& 6. Coffee has no relation to your symptoms, as is, number of ejaculations you've a week.

7.One can't make out, semen coming out from each testis and epididymis.
Moreover, major portion of semen is excreted from the seminal vesicular glands.

Feel free to clear all your doubts.

Hi Doctor,
Thanks for the reply.
I am confused and afraid now.

I am really not getting why all these symptoms happening.
Urologist diagnosis was Epdididymtis .
1. Is it expected to have all these symptoms during Epdididymtis.
1. Should I wait until antibiotic course completes and check symptoms. So far I have completed 4 day course.
2. This is the first time I am facing all these problems and I have no clue why is it happening.
3. I am not sure how to proceed and find out what's happening

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Healing takes it's own time.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,

There's no reason for being tense or confused.

Epididymitis doesn't always have a cause.

1. Your symptoms are quite mild compared to what many others experience.
2. A typical course of antibiotic is about 7 days.
By the end of it or in a few more days, good relief is seen.
3. There's no need to rush through treatment.
You need to be more patient. Relief will not be like instant coffee.!
Remember healing is natural process and healing time, varies in each person.

Wishing you have a speedy recovery.

Hi Doctor,
Thanks.

I understand it. I am completely healthy and even mild symptoms should not have happen.
It's happening since december 2015, That's why I am bit tense.

I know I sound rushy but I am bit worried too because it is persistent since quite time.

However I used to do more frequent ejaculations like every day until I started facing these symptoms , I always thought that caused the problem

However this is the first time I am taking this antibiotic , I will wait as you said.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Anti-analgesic tablet, when you feel pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,

Just try to relax and you'll feel better.
If you keep thinking about it,you'll be more tense.

Mild pain may be felt now and then.
Don't worry about it.

Antibiotic alone, may not not resolve your problem.
Try to take an anti-inflammatory analgesic tablet, when you feel pain.

The scrotal support is to be used, till the pain subsides.

Wish you good health.
