What Causes A Delay In Periods?

default
Posted on Wed, 13 Jul 2016
Question: Hi,

I usually have regular periods. This time it's getting delayed (1 week passed).
I had travelled in the first week of XXXXXXX and had hotel food for 10 days.
Also I've no symptoms for pregnancy (I'm worried to take a test, as we are not ready for a baby).
Also I'm not having the usual symptoms of starting a period too.
Plz help.

Brief Answer:
Get your home urine pregnancy test.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
First you have to get your home urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
Because there are so many causes other than pregnancy which may cause delayed menses.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck.
Regards
