Question : I have had a a slightly discolored blotch 4" by 2" under my right nipple for 3 or 4 days. It doesn't burn or itch. What might be the cause of it?

I have reviewed the attached photograph and it could be either herald patch of pityriasis rosea which is a self limiting allergic reaction to a viral infection or any nonspecific annular erythema.
I would recommend you to consult a doctor and go for clinical examination.
