Brief Answer:
traumatic

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.
I have read your query.
I understand your concern.
As per details, the most likely possibility for your symptoms is Traumatic in origin.
At times, due to rub of skin against some harsh object leads to rupture of very small cutaneous blood vessels. This collected blood underneath skin appears as discolouration of skin.
It is often unnoticed and spontaneous in origin.
Still I will advise you to get your Hemogram, Bleeding time, clotting time, PT / INR done.
This will rule out the possibility of any underlying Disorder related to Platelet deficiency or platelet dysfunction.
You should visit your doctor so that he can examine you and order tests for you.
You can share my opinion with him. I
hope it helps.
Take care.
