Question : my epiglottis has dropped. what is cause and how do I treat this problem

Hi and thanks for this query.

A dropped epiglottis is very unlikely. I will like to know what makes you to suspect so as I highly suspect that there may be an issue with misdiagnosis. I will recommend you simply report your symptoms to me and I will look at them myself to see what disease condition they may suggest.

Remember that the epiglottis closes the air passages during swallowing. If it were defective, then food would get into the lungs each time you drink or eat and this would have been a catastrophe. I guess this is not it.
