Question : I have a dull ache in the lower right side of my abdomen ( near the hip bone. I am not sick to my stomach or no temp. Should I go to an outpatient facility to have this looked at?
Brief Answer:
Yes, you should consult your doctor.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Yes, you definitely should have it checked. Lower right abdominal pain can be caused by appendicitis. Even if there is no other symptoms.
Pain in this location can be also caused by inguinal hernia, ovaries issue, urinary tract infection or even hip problems.
I suggest you to have some diagnostic done. Abdominal ultrasound, blood work, urine analysis should be done at first. Hip x-ray should be considered.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
