Brief Answer:
Seroquel and propranolol can cause false positive results for amphatamine

Detailed Answer:
Thanks dear for information.

Among the medication you are taking Seroquel and propranolol can cause false positive results for amphetamines, and methamphetamine.

Kidney infection is also common cause. So go for fresh renal function test, urine routine micro and complete blood count reports with ultrasound of kidney.

Feel free to discuss further.

Thank you doctor for clarification about the cause of my drug test showing a false positive result for amphetamines & methamphetamine. Here is what my problem is now. Like I said earlier I use to sale the drug until about 6mos ago. The ADA is going to lock me up and have my kids removed from me because he says I'm lying about the medications being the cause of the drug test results. The court wants me to have a letter from a doctor explaining it, and non of my doctors want to do it because they don't really know much about the chemical breakdown. Is there anyway you would be willing to help me with this matter. please

Brief Answer:
You can use prescription of regular medicines

Detailed Answer:
Hi Keisha,

Thanks for follow up.

You can show at least prescription of your regular medicines to court. You can use following links as supportive evidences.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/0000

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/0000

Even you can ask your treating doctor to give you certificate that such false positive results are possible with your current medications if your doctor is convinced.

If I were your treating doctor I would surely like to help directly but due to limitation of online consultation I cannot do much.

Take care and feel free to discuss further.

Thank you for your help with my question. I've given the courts a copy of my medication, but the DA wouldn't hear it. I'll try talking to my doctor once more about it.
