Do not worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns but don't worry. The most likely reason for burning sensation in your daughter is gastritis which is a common side effect of steroid (prednisolone) use.
I would recommend you to taper off prednisolone after consulting your pediatrician and start her on inhaled steroids such as Budesonide or fluticasone. Inhaled steroids are much safer drugs and have minimal effects on growth. There is also no need to give her antibiotics (amoxycillin) unless and until a bacterial infection is suspected.
At present, you may start her on antacids such as Lansoprazole or Ranitidine for symptomatic relief. Ensure balanced diet and good water intake.
Hopefully it will be of help.
