Parasitic infection and malabsorption is possible.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Parasitic infection and malabsorption is possible in your case. Get a stool routine test to rule out this. Parasitic infection like Giardia can cause this. Taking a short course antibiotics like Tinidazole helps in that case. Deworming by anti helminthic drugs like albendazole , taking probiotics or natural probiotics like yogurt , kefir , banana etc is good also.
Taking H2 blockers like Ranitidine ( Zantac) twice daily for 5 days will be helpful to clear the discomfort. This is available as over the counter. Avoid milk , wheat and wheat products till this resolves.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
