Question : Hello everyone,

I have had a greyish bump on my shaft for about 3 weeks now. It is located on the underside of the shaft towards the base near the pubic region. I bump hasn't cause me any pain or any other problems. I first assumed the bump was some sort of infected hair since it was in the region. I have waited 3 weeks now for it to clear up on its own and haven't had any luck. The bump is smooth and fairly round.

According to your complaints it can be either a wart or molluscum contagiosum.
I would recommend you to upload the pictures of the affected area so that I can have a clearer picture of the condition and can guide you accordingly.

Seems to be resolving folliculitis, apply topical antibiotic

Hi,

I have reviewed the attached photographs and it seems to be a bump developed as a result of some resolving folliculitis which is inflammation of the hair follicle.

I would recommend you to apply topical antibiotic like Neosporin ointment or Mupirocin cream on this area twice daily for 14 days.

This should resolve it.
