What Causes A Hard Ring Around Belly Bottom?

Question: I already typed it in once at bottom of page............... I have a somewhat hard ring around the inner side of my navel about 1" wide & no pain. Any idea what this might be ?

An image would not do any good. On the outer side of my body it looks
normal, like it should look.

Thanks for writing back. Sorry for not being able to respond back earlier.

Frankly speaking it is really hard to comment without observing or examining it. But I guess that it is just a fibrotic variation of the normal navel and not a cause for concern. Nevertheless I would insist you to get it examined by a doctor when feasible.
