Brief Answer:
Needs more details..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a hole on hard palate is not a normal finding and it needs proper evaluation and investigations..

A hole can be simply a small crater like lesion that can be due to formation of a Canker Sore or a traumatic Ulcer while can also be a Bony perforation that can be a sign of serious pathology..

I would like to know a few more details for better understanding..
1.Since how many days is the hole present?
2.Is there any discharge from it?
3.Is it painful?
4.When you drink water does it come out through nose?
5.Do you have sores in any other area of mouth?
6.What us the exact location of the hole?
7.Do you see just a depression or crater or a through and through perforation in the bony part of palate?

If possible please send an image of the area where hole is present..

Kindly revert back with answers..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.

Hello Dr. and thank you for your prompt response.
The hole has been present about 5 day.
There is no discharge.
It is only painful if I press my tongue against it and create suction.
Water does not come out through my nose when I drink.
I do not have sores in my mouth.
The hole is located right of center and about 1cm from soft palate.
I cannot see the hole; I feel it with my tongue.
I do not have any images to send.
Respectfully,

Brief Answer:
Seems like an Ulcer..

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX XXXXXXX XXX..

Welcome back..

As per your answers, it does not seems to be a hole, rather seems like a depression or crater in the mucosa caused by an ulcer..

Nothing to worry as it will resolve soon..

As of now you can do warm saline gargles.
Take a Vitamin B complex supplement daily..
Avoid spicy and hard foods..

Follow for 5 days and revert me back with the response of the treatment..

Regards.
