Question : I have a large red rash on my right calf. The rash is smooth and warm to the touch. The rash started a couple of days ago. Recently a spot about the size of a quarter appeared. This spot was more intense than the rash around it. The spot is also sensitive to the touch. I can not pin point contact with poison ivy, etc.

Hello
Thanks for the photographs.
It is looking like allergic contact dermatitis.
I treat such cases with a mild steroid cream like cortisone.
Apply cortisone 2.5% cream twice daily for a week.
It should help you.
I can see lot of dialated veins on your leg
It suggests varicosity.
Please meet a surgeon and take an opinion.
