Question : Hi XXXXXXX here Fell out of bed hit corner of nightstand just under hair line on side of head. Small bump. It caused black eye and bruising on side of face and chin. How long does the bump and bruising usually last?

It can remain upto a week

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX Bump and bruise can remain upto a week. If you have signs like vomiting, giddiness etc then you consult a doctor who may suggest investigations like CT Scan to see if there is any internal injury. If there is no such signs then you can apply ice packs in the area, take pain killers like paracetamol or Diclofenac or Brufen and wait till your symptoms subside.
