What Causes A Lump On The Testicle?

Question: I have what feels like a large ball type lump about 1cm diameter attached or growing around my testicle. It feels quite hard and it causes pain - dull ache. It is in my left testicle. I had a vasectomy about 18 months ago. This may have no influence.

1)Since how long you have this lump?

The round shaped lump with dull pain is mostly a Spermatocele (Epididymal Cyst) .

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic
tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Ultrasound scanning of Scrotum.

Spermatocele is a benign cyst and does not need any treatment except in a situation when it increases in size , causes pain in testicle or gets infected .

I am not sure, but over a month. I thought it was my underwear (which is too small for me) crushing my testicle causing pain then on examination I found this extra lump.

Thank you, I have contacted a Urologist for an assessment.
