Brief Answer:
Folliculitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Your description suggests that you have developed folliculitis, a bacterial infection.
I treat such cases with a topical antibiotic cream like mupirocine to be applied twice daily for a week.
It doesn't seem to be herpes.
If possible upload a photograph of the involved area.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis and better way of management..
Waiting for your response.
Thank you.
