Question : Found lumpy area on right breast. Went to dr and she said she could not feel anything but gave me referal for ultrasoud anyway.
I now have my period very sore on the right side where it feels lumpy. The whole right breast feel lumpy.. Are there glands in breast that change during cycle?
Very tender and sore all day.

Yes,thereare glandsin breast and thier size and activity changes during the cycle. It can sometimes be felt as swelling and tension of wholle breast or as lumps. Also,fibroadenomas may changes during the period. In every case it doesntlook serious at this momet but ultrasound is definitely recommended. Wish you good health. Regards
