Brief Answer:
as explained in details.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
To recapitulate: Female/61 - h/o fall yesterday - while walking the dog on a leash - bruised - developed a sharp pain - left of center above line of naval - Aleve and Motrin did not help....

The history indicates one of the following:

Hematoma in the rectus sheath, being a close cavity due to sheath, the pain can be sharp as explained.
Spasm of the muscle, could have been relieved with the measures you have taken.

I would advise you the following in such a situation:

Get a clinical evaluation and examination by your Doctor, preferably a General Surgeon to get a clinical diagnosis.

To get a high resolution ultrasound for the abdominal wall, aspiration of the hematoma, if present, to relieve the pressure and pain and allow early healing.

Ultrasonography of the abdomen as a whole to rule out any internal problem although you have not mentioned any symptoms related to internal injury.

Continue the medications that you are taking.

It is better to get a PPI like Omeprazole to avoid acidity related to NSAIDs.
Complete bed-rest to help with healing and not to increase the problem further.
Please let the Doctors/me know if you develop any other symptoms like nausea, vomiting, bloating, constipation or black stool and so on.
Please be on liquids only till well diagnosed.

I hope this answer helps you, awaiting further details..
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

Regards
