Question : I had a red painful bump on the bridge of my nose near my left eye. Last night it felt itchy around my eye and like it was being poked. When I woke up today the bump is no longer painful but itchy & there is an area of swelling/puffiness under the eye and it feels a little numb. We have high mold in our area and I was outside quite a bit yesterday but I've never had anything this. I am breastfeeding my 6.5 week old so my eyes r dry and sleep deprived. Worried it could be shingles?

Thanks for the query to HCM,
I would request you to send a picture of the lesion to be able to offer you a diagnosis.
Usually shingles are never a singular lesion, the possibility is more fungal considering it has become itchy now and that pain has gone.
