Brief Answer:
Bacterial skin infection; should resolve in about a week with antibiotics

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar (dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern

This area seems infected.
I suggest you to give her an Oral antibiotic e.g Tab. Moxclav 1 gm (Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid), twice daily for 5 days.
In addition she may also take an oral antiinflammatory/ painkiller e.g Tab. Serradic - P (Diclofenac and paracetamol), twice daily for 3 days.
Topically she may apply T-Bact cream (2% mupirocin cream), twice daily.

Regards
