Question : I am a 55 year old male with suspected lymphoma. However, no form diagnosis. a new node popped up on the left side of my neck. now there is increased pain in both eras and my throat hurts. A spot was discovered just below my molars on my upper GI last April with displasia(benign). Am I to be concern., since i am just waiting on another petscan

As you refer you had a biopsies and numerous scans with negative results for malignancy

However you are referring new painful node popped up the left side of your neck.Did you have a clinical exam from your doctor;

If your doctor believe that everything it's ok, in my opinion you should not be conserd waiting your petscan
