Question : What is this red bump on my lip, I've never had one before and it's A little painful.

Hello. thank you for writing to us.

I am Dr. Kakkar (dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I have viewed he image.
I can see a single, pinhead sized, raised, red bump on lower lip.
I will keep a possibility of either a benign fibrous papule or a blocked gland leading to a small mucocele. Preceding trauma from lip biting is an underlying cause in both cases. Trauma may have gone unnoticed. Sometimes a small mucocele may resolve spontaneously. Others may however grow or remain static.
I would suggest figuration with either Electrocautery or Radiofrequency Cautery if it does not resolve in a few days or grows bigger.
