Question : Two days ago I noticed that a spot on my foot hurt when i flexed or put slight pressure on it. It is my left foot, close to my big toe. Right over the thin bone that leads to the big toe.
I ignored it thinking it was just a bruise and that something must have fallen on it.
Just now I noticed that right where it hurts, there's an indent, like a long dimple. And it still hurts, only with movement such as flexing or pointing my toes, not necessarily when I walk.
is this a possible fracture? It does look slightly swollen and bigger than my other foot. or is it just a bruise?

                                    Brief Answer:
few possible causes
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCm.
It can be causes by muscular and tendon disroders such as bruise, pulling, tendinitis or miositis. it is seen after prolonged exercise, walking or injury. In this cases, you should rest, take nonsteroid painkillers and wear comfortable shoes.
Symptoms should improve in 3.5 days.
I don't consider fracture yet. But if the pain and discomfort continues to persist, hen you should do xrays since some bone disorders can lead to such pain too, such as fracture, stressvfracture, exostosis or hallux valgus.
All this is treatable and no consequences should be left. So don't be worried.
Wish you good health. Regards
