Question : I have a spot on my left collar bone, below the skin, that feels raw, and is painful to touch. You can’t see anything on outside, but if you press on it, very painful.

The commonest causes I can think about for the lesion as you have described are as follows:
Enlarging lymph node.
Any lump from the muscle or tendon.
This can be confirmed by the following ways:
Clinical examination, preferably by a Surgeon.
Ultrasonography and FNAC if indicated.
This can give the most proper diagnosis and a plan for management.
