Brief Answer:
could be a cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
This could be a cyst. If it does not resolve in a few days then you should see your doctor for an evaluation.
In the mean time you could use warm compresses on it to help it go down.
It is best not to squeeze it.
If you develop a fever or vomiting then you should be seen by a doctor right away. If it is just the painful swelling then you can try to relieve it with compresses and see a doctor if it does not go away.
Please let me know if you have further questions

Dr. Robinson
