What Causes A Penis When Erect To Be Bend?

Question : I have noticed in the last month or so my penis when erect now bends to the left - also it looks sunk-in on the left side about 1/4 of the way up the shaft. It also hurts alittle when erect. What could this be?

It is possible that it may be peyronie's disease.
This is condition caused by formation of fibrous tissue (scar tissue) along the penis.
The scar tissue would then cause it to deviate in one or the other direction. This is normally mainly obvious when it is erect.
The exact cause is not known but there are certain factors that increase the risk of it occurring such as: (1) increasing age
(2)obesity
(3)smoking
(4)diabetes
(5)high cholesterol
(6)longer duration and increased severity of ED
A urologist would be the best person to diagnose whether this is present.
Treatment: at present there is no optimal treatment.
Examples of treatment methods are: vitamin E, potassium aminobenzoate, collagenase clostridium histolyticum
