Question : Hi ive recently been diagnosed with scabies, but i have pimple like bumps apearing on my penis, theyre not itchy theyre just there! There was one yesterday and i found 2 new ones today, what is all this im freaking out

I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, Dermatologist.

Presence of bumps on the penis confirms the diagnosis of scabies in a male.
There's nothing to worry about as these lesions are due to result of a hypersensitivity reaction to presence of scabies mite in an individual.

They will disappear in 3-4 weeks once the treatment is started.
You can apply potent topical steroid like Clobetasol propionate cream or Betamethasone cream on these bumps twice daily for 2-3 weeks (please get the appropriate prescription from your local physician for this).
