Question : So I noticed this pimple like thing show up on the floor of my mouth 8 days ago and it has not gone away. It has not grown or gotten worse either. It's extremely small and literally looks like a small pimple. It does not hurt at all. I will attach some pictures. Any idea what this could be and should I be freaking out?
Brief Answer:
It looks like a normal swelling
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have gone through the images sent by you and from the look of it i can think of 2 diagnosis
The first one, which is more likely is that the swelling is due to blockage of a minor salivary gland duct and generally this will resolve on its own and no treatment is required.
The second reason may be due to a stone in the submandibular salivary gland duct and most of the time the stones come out themselves. Just drink lots of water and avoid hot and spicy food for few days.
I would also recommend that you rinse your mouth with chlorhexidine mouth gargles 2-3 times a day.
If the swelling increases in size or you develop pain, thenn meet your doctor.
Take care

sounds good. I will keep an eye on it then. The only thing that bothered me was the stress thinking it could of been something serious. I will try to relax and not worry about it.
Thanks
