What Causes A Pimple-like Spot On The Penis After Protected Intercourse?

Question: I got a pimple on my penis after having protected sex. Do you by any chance know what it is or if it's nothing?
Brief Answer:
Possibility of STD can be ruled out by examination and investigations.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
With protected sex the possibility of STD is rare. But STD can occur over the uncovered area of genitals. How long after the sex you had this lesion? Whether it is painful or not? You had sex with a known partner or a casual contact? These facts can throw more light to decide whether it is a STD or not.
If you can upload the picture of the lesion we can discuss more.

Here is a photo of the pimple
Brief Answer:
Unlikely be due to STD. Furuncle is a possibility.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
I saw the picture sent by you.
It is not an uncovered area of penis. So unlikely be due to STD as you had protected sex.(from the beginning to end?).
There is no vesicles, especially grouped vesicles containing clear fluid. So this lesion is unlikely be due to Genital Herpes.
It could be a furuncle caused by a bacteria and it can occur to anybody and not necessarily related to your sexual activity. Sometimes it will heal spontaneously, if it recurs you have to take antibiotics. Meet your physician, He/she will guide you. Get well soon.
