Question : My husband has had a rash on his right side above pelvis area for about a week. One eye was swollen and the other eye red. We believe it may be from poison oak
It is now in his pubic area and penis which is believed from repositioning while working cutting down heavy brush. The rashes appear to be getting better. Using calamine lotion and taking benedryl orally, however they still itch very bad. This moring he woke with what appears to be an edema on one side of his penis shaft, just below the rim. It looks like a cyst or water filled ball, only one. It is not small. It is about the diameter of maybe a bit smaller than a quarter but is blown up like a blister. He thinks it is from scratching or maybe am allergic reaction. I am concerned. Do you have any idea what this could be?

Brief Answer:
Mixed allergic and infection origin.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam
I can certainly understand your concern.
I have worked through your query in detail.
Yes certainly, he seems to have a mixed infectious and an allergic reaction.
I will be glad if you can upload images of the blister like swelling on the penis area. This helps me to assess his condition accurately and guide you accordingly.
Meanwhile, I advise oral pills of Levocetrizine 10 mg and Tab Fluconazole 150 mg Once a day for 5 days to reduce the symptoms.
Based on the image you upload, I will further decide to add antibacterial antibiotics.
Post your further questions if any.
Thank you.
