What Causes A Recurring Pain On The Skin Of Lower Legs?

Question: I have a recurring pain on the skin of my lower legs. It feels as though I have a sunburn, however, there are no visible indications anything is wrong. These places are as large as the palm of my hand. The pain can be anywhere from directly below my buttocks to the front of my shins.
There is no swelling nor redness, however, the pain can become intense.
for a day or two then disappear. Could this be a reaction to my meds?
I take both Bystolic for BP and Tamsulosin for the prostate

Brief Answer:
Lumbar Radiculopathy
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing pain along the buttock are down to your shins. This sounds very much like a radiculopathy or a pinched nerve in your back. The pain is perceived by your brain as coming for the leg but the pinch is actually coming from your back. It can make the skin hypersensitive. I would recommend that you see your medical provider. They can examine you and possibly get MRI of your back to see if you are indeed having a pinched nerve.
