Brief Answer:
Most probably allergic as per the history you have provided.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

By the nature of the red spot that appears after itching and disappearing a short while later; happened 3 times in past 3-4 weeks indicates that this is most probably an allergic one.
This is so because the bump is coming after itching and disappears in a while.

If this would have been something serious, it would not disappear.

So, from the history you have provided this does not look a serious one.

But it is always better than the lump when appears to be examined by a Doctor to rule out any serious problem.

If possible capture clear and focused images of the bump when appears. It helps sometimes for on the spot diagnosis.

I hope this answer helps you.

Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap in communication.

Thank you for your answer. To clarify the bump appears after it feels itchy. I do not touch it as I do not want to irritate it. To be clear it goes as follows: it feels itchy, it becomes inflamed like a hive and the hive disaapears a short period after (usually less than an hour). The bump appears in the same area just on the top left areola.

Brief Answer:
As detailed.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The answer to your additional history remains the same.

If after disappearance the areola is 100% normal, nothing to worry but if there are any traces of skin chances then it is better to be seen, examined and investigated to make sure that there is no underlying cause.

Also, examine yourself for any lump below areola, compare to another side also, see for lumps in the breasts and axillae (underarms and above collarbones).

I hope this answer helps you further.
