Question : My 7 year old grandson has a reddish circle less than a dime size on his chin and pustuales (pimples looking) on his chin. It is painful. He is in Az. I am in CA. His mom doesn't know what to do.

Hi
I have gone through your question and the images. Do not worry. The lesions are most likely due to staphylococcus infection known as impetigo. You may apply fusidic acid ointment thrice daily after proper cleaning with betadine or savlon antiseptic. This will help in recovery.

In case the lesions show inadequate improvement after 3 days of regular application then visit a dermatologist for clinical evaluation and further definitive treatment.
