Brief Answer:
Likely to be microtrauma
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The linear rash which later scabs and goes away completely is likely to be microtrauma. Such microtrauma can occur due to scratching or using products like the loofah, especially in people with dry skin.
You can use moisturizing lotions containing aloe to avoid dry skin. Use moisturizing soap and avoid loofah.
If you feel that your skin is too dry, use a humidifier in your bedroom.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
