Brief Answer:
Due to elevated blood pressure

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms, The pressure sensation you are feeling is most probably due to elevated blood pressure. you should take a mild antihypertensive as lasix 20 mg once daily and follow up on your blood pressure and the pressure sensation. while taking the antihypertensive you should make sure that you are sinking plenty of fluids ( 8 cups daily ) . if the blood pressure returned to normal level and the pressure sensation disappeared then continue on the antihypertensive . if after 10 days of using the antihypertensive , no improvement occurred then you will need a carotid angiography and a ct brain to exclude transient ischemic attack. I hope I answered your question.
