Question : I have a small, pea sized mass just above my left clavicle. It is a bit sore, and I'm wondering if it warrants a trip to my general practitioner.
Brief Answer:
You'd better check it
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
sore masses in this area are probably of inflammatory etiology. Lymph node or inflammed sebaceous cyst are the most likely diagnoses. An inflammed node may need investigation about its cause and a sebaceous cyst won't go away unless treated properly.
Other less common causes may apply also, so you'd better check it.
Kind Regards!
