Question : I believe I have a boil that came after shaving
it's in the outside of my vagina. closer to the leg. I tried popping it but nothing comes out only a little puss and blood. it has been there since February. it's very very small. It doesn't really hurt at all. It just bothers me that it has been there since February. I have read I could go get it drained. It's kind of embarrassing and and wondering if it's needed. who do you go for that? obgyn or dermatologist? Help!!

Brief Answer:
possibly old healed folliculitis lesion.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
This boil or bump which you have popped earlier would have healed and hardened and formed a scar fibrous tissue by now which is not painful but there is an obvious evident bump.
you may send a picture of the lesion in the follow up, which shall help me to decide if it can be removed, if its an active folliculitis lesion or whether it can be removed or not.
Regards
